Kate Mara says dad Timothy Mara isn't a fan of her new pixie haircut. The 32-year-old actress revealed as much in an interview with Live with Kelly and Michael on Tuesday. The star cut her shoulder-length locks short for an upcoming film, and debuted the look this summer.
Mara said of his reaction to the close-cropped style, "I texted messaged my dad the other day saying, 'I miss you,' and his response was, 'I miss your hair.'" Mara herself loves the the haircut, but faced similar skepticism from Steven J. Rickman, aka Southside Steve, of the Rock 100.5 Morning Show on Monday.
