NBC took control of the Monday ratings race in key demos behind ?American Ninja Warrior? and a season high for lead-out ?Running Wild With Bear Grylls.?
According to preliminary national estimates from Nielsen, ?American Ninja Warrior? averaged a 1.8 rating in adults 18-49 and 6.3 million viewers overall, a slight drop from last week.
The standout of the night, though, was ?Running Wild With Bear Grylls? that hit a 1.4 in the same demographic with 4.1 million viewers overall.
The 1.4 rating is just a tick off the series high for ?Running Wild,? and it marks a summer series timeslot high.
