Amy Schumer's star is on the rise.
Her feature film debut, Trainwreck, is a box office hit, and her Comedy Central series, Inside Amy Schumer, is nominated for seven Primetime Emmy Awards. As such, Jon Stewart asked his Daily Show guest Monday night, "Are you in the stratosphere now? I see a picture of you and Jennifer Lawrence..."
She responded, "Oh, God! Don't even start! All my celeb friends!" Schumer explained, "She's been on here. She's the coolest chick you'll ever meet. She's beautiful." The comedienne then revealed how her recent vacation with the Academy Award winner came to be. Schumer said, "Once a year I go away with all my girlfriends from high school. We went to the Hamptons because they wouldn't let us go back to Martha's Vineyard. No one would rent us a house because they heard about us."
