Wild Bunch is bringing Julie Delpy?s Lolo to Venice Days in September. The French actress wrote, directed and starred in the film. Delpy's first film as a director since 2012's 2 Days in New York, Lolo will premiere in Venice enroute to the Toronto Film Festival. Delpy plays Violette, a chic Parisian who falls in love with an IT nerd Jean-Rene (played by Dany Boon) during holidays in the south of France. But her possessive son Lolo (played by Vincent Lacoste) is determined to end the happy reunion by whatever means necessary.
