The novel centers on a girl who learns to live from a boy, who intends to die. Random House Children?s Books/Knopf Books for Young Readers published the novel earlier this year, and it?s currently No. 5 on the New York Times bestseller list. Arteta most recently directed ?Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.? He also helmed ?Cedar Rapids? and ?Youth in Revolt.?
