The Associated Press reports, Joe Jackson, the patriarch of the Jackson family, is hospitalized after suffering a stroke in Brazil. Sao Paulo?s Albert Einstein hospital said in a statement to AP,
Jackson is in the intensive care unit and also suffering from an irregular heartbeat after being admitted to the hospital Sunday afternoon.
Jackson is in Brazil in part to celebrate his 87th birthday, which was on Sunday.
The talent manager, who suffers from diabetes, woke up feeling dizzy and without vision on Sunday, TMZ reports. He has allegedly had three other strokes, with the most recent occurring in 2012.
