Earlier today, fans learned that Michael K. Williams had joined the Ghostbusters cast, and now they can add Assassin's Creed to his filmography as well. Variety is reporting that Williams, who is best known for playing Chalky White in Boardwalk Empire and Omar Little in The Wire, has landed a role in New Regency's Assassin's Creed movie. No real details were provided as who the 48-year-old actor will be playing in the video game-to-film adaptation, but Variety's sources "tease that his character has a major stake in the franchise." Assassin?s Creed will open in theaters December 21, 2016.
