Graceland ?s Brandon Jay McLaren and Silicon Valley ?s Amanda Crew were named best actor and actress in a TV series broadcast in the U.S. at the inaugural Golden Maple Awards, which were held today at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles. The awards, presented by the Academy of Canadians in Sports & Entertainment, are designed to spotlight Canadian entertainment and sports talent working in the United States. Winners were determined by a vote of the membership of ACISE-LA chapter. Former NBA basketball player and Canadian actor Rick Fox was honored with the 2015 Maple of Excellence for Outstanding Athlete/Actor Crossover.
