Prince, who memorably proclaimed "the Internet's completely over" in 2010, is now absent from all streaming services except Jay Z's music platform Tidal.
A Spotify spokesperson told Mashable on Wednesday, " Prince's publisher has asked all streaming services to remove his catalog." Only some of Prince's music was on Spotify and elsewhere in the first place, with some albums noticeably missing. When Prince made his death-of-the-Internet statement five years ago, he also said, "I don't see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else."
