VIDEO : Cheryl Burke Steps Down As Miss USA Co-Host in Wake of Donald Trump Controversy

Miss USA has lost another co-host.
Cheryl Burke, who was set to co-host the pageant with MSNBC's Thomas Roberts, stepped down Tuesday one day after NBC pulled the program.
Burke in a statement that in light of the recent statements made by Donald Trump and the decision by NBC to cut ties with Mr. Trump, she could not in good conscience move forward with participating in this year?s Miss USA Pageant as its co-host." Burke said, "Effective today I have withdrawn from my duties with Miss USA." Donald Trump lost NBC's collaboration on the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants following his announcement of his candidacy for president. The real estate mogul made remarks about Mexican immigrants that NBC executives found to be "derogatory."
