Carrie Underwood walked away with the video of the year CMT award and said she had the 'best fans in the world'. Her winning streak then carried on as she also picked up the female video of the year awards and collaborative video of the year for the song Somethin' Bad with Miranda Lambert. Other winners included Florida Georgia Line who picked up the Duo Video of the Year awards for their song Dirt. Luke Bryan walked away with the Male Video of the year awards for Play it Again and Sam Hunt was awarded for the breakthrough video of the year.
