It was announced on Twitter this afternoon that none other than Chris Hemsworth will play the receptionist in his upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones as the ghoul-fighting foursome.
Um... yes!
Annie Potts, of course, famously played the original acerbic, crushing-on-Egon Ghostbusters receptionist Janine Melnitz, but... if the new generation wants a receptionist with an Australian accent who can have his shirt off the whole time, so be it. And we wonder what his hobbies will be...
The Ghostbusters reboot has been given a July 22, 2016, release date.??
