Suffice to say that Carolina Herrera will never design a naked dress. Not only that, she's publicly slamming the trend. The 76-year-old designer opened up to Washington Post writer Robin Givhan about the culture of wearing, well, nothing, and let's just say she's not a fan. Herrera said, "Designers think it's so modern to be naked or almost naked, They think it's going to attract younger people if they do those dresses." Herrera believes there should be a little mystery left to dresses. Well, Herrera does have a valid point, and she knows it. We doubt you've forgotten the body-baring couture on the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian and the Queen Beyonce.
"They're supposed to be fashion icons and they're not wearing anything," Herrera said. "It's an obsession now."??
