John Cusack doesn't shy away from talking about politics, but he hopes that people who do so "do it seriously." During an interview with The Daily Beast, the Love & Mercy actor was asked about a recent CNN poll which concluded that George W. Bush?s approval rating is now higher than president Barack Obama's Cusack said, "His domestic policy is a bit different, but when you talk about drones, the American Empire, the NSA, civil liberties, attacks on journalism and whistleblowers, he?s as bad or worse than Bush." After the article was published, however, the actor called out The Daily Beast on Twitter for misrepresenting the conversation he had with the reporter.??
