Supernatural has a history of bringing characters back from the dead, but there's at least one character who hasn't returned to the land of the living. That's Dean and Sam's father, John Winchester, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.While he's getting ready for Season 2 of Extant, Morgan says he'd be happy to make a return to Supernatural if the opportunity arose. He added, "I haven?t been on the show for 10 years, and I get asked about it in every interview and every time I leave my house." Supernatural recently finished out its tenth season, and will return for an eleventh on The CW this fall.??
