Cue the swelling patriotic music: Clint Eastwood has lined up his next directing project, this time a biopic of American hero pilot Captain Chelsey "Sully" Sullenberger.
The film, backed by Warner Bros., will tell the story of Sullenberger, who made national headlines in 2009 when he landed a disabled jet on the Hudson River. Sullenberger said in a statement from the studio's announcement, ?I am very glad my story is in the hands of gifted storyteller and filmmaker Clint Eastwood."
Over the years, the director has found his niche helming chest-thumping American fare, from "Flags of Our Fathers" to "Letters from Iwo Jima."??
