Tinseltown is turning, at least for New Line Cinema.
Director Cary Fukunaga chosen for the two-film adaptation of Stephen King's novel "It" has abruptly departed the project.
The Wrap reports that Fukunaga has walked away from the project over disputes with New Line regarding budget and filming locations.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that filming was scheduled to begin in three weeks.
