Melissa McCarthy doesn't mind if you walk all over her?all over her new star, that is.
The Spy funny lady received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier today in front of a crowd that included her hubby Ben Falcone, Ellen DeGeneres and director Paul Feig.
McCarthy told E! News, "It just seems really nuts. It really seems like there's 50 cherries on top of the sundae."
Also in attendance were the Illinois native's mom, sister and a slew of her film and television co-stars.
Her dad, however, wasn't able to make it?for a hilarious reason.
McCarthy explained, "He is deweeding the lake. It was his turn at the club to take care of the weeds, so he's doing that. That's the truth. I can't write that."
She went on to praise her parents for encouraging her comedy dreams.??
