According to the Australia star herself, Rebel Wilson isn't 29 ? she's actually a 100-year-old mermaid. Over the last few days, the Bridesmaids comedian has been put through the wringer by Australian media over the accuracy of her age. And in true Wilson style, she lashed back. Following the blowup, the actress wrote on Twitter, "OMG I'm actually a 100 year old mermaid formerly known as "CC Chalice" ....thanks shady Australian press for your tall poppy syndrome." Wilson's retort ? not quite a denial ? followed a report by Women's Day claiming much of Wilson's past is actually a "fantasy," including accusations the actress is 36 years old, instead of the documented age of 29, and that Wilson came from a middle class family and studied at an elite private school.??
