Many black artists don't have an easy time, and Jay Z wants to do something about it.
Jay Z continued his offensive on the music streaming industry over the weekend, this time taking to the mic to attack rivals to his Tidal music service. The message, however, was more political than it has been in the past.
The rapper-turned-mogul went after Spotify and YouTube in a freestyle rap he performed during a private concert held for Tidal subscribers over the weekend, touching on the issue of how much money musicians make from online streaming as well as social injustice.??
