Well thank dog, it's official: Johnny Depp's pups won't be going to the death chamber Down Under.
The Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales star was accused of violating Australia's strict quarantine regulations and smuggling the pets in the country without following proper procedure or adhering to quarantine requirements.
Sources told E! News Thursday that Depp's pooches' Boo and Pistol would be returning to the United States via private jet, and on Friday, Australian officials confirmed the dogs had, indeed, made their way out of the country safely. Joyce himself announced the #WarOnTerrier was over with a single tweet:
"Dogs Gone"
