Legendary guitarist B.B. King died Thursday at home in Las Vegas. King famously brought the Mississippi Delta blues to the mainstream with his 1970 hit "The Thrill Is Gone." He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, won 15 Grammys, as well as a Presidential Medal of Arts, and a Presidential Medal of Freedom. King also recorded countless collaborations with other superstars ... such as Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, U2, and Sheryl Crow.
King, who was 89 ... had been at home in hospice care since May 1.??
