Johnny Depp?s pet Yorkshire terriers are on a flight home to California, just ahead of their deadline to be put down.
The pets, Pistol and Boo, unwittingly caused an international incident when their owner failed to declare them at Australian customs and allegedly got them into the country without following the proper biosecurity processes.
The Australian agriculture minister Barnaby Joyce, who threatened that the terriers would be put down, announced on Friday night simply: ?Dogs gone.
