In his band's hit song "Sugar," Adam Levine sings about needing a little sweetness in his life. Probably not the kind he got Wednesday night.
Sgt. Robert Payan of the Los Angeles Police Department said a "sugar bomb" hurled at the Maroon 5 frontman left him coated in white.
The singer was not hurt.
Laura Tijerina, who was in the crowd, said Levine and fellow band members were signing autographs after leaving "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" studios when a heaping of powdered sugar wafted toward him.
