Last night our country bore witness to something truly legendary. A veritable showdown of divas happened in our midst and we were lucky enough to be bystanders. At Monday evening's Met Gala two of music's fiercest-- Rihanna and Beyonce-- came together to try and prove who was top dog. In one corner we have

. Lady Rih took over the red carpet, literally, with her more-giant-than-giant yellow gown. It was actually impossible not to turn your head and gawk at the spectacle that was this dress/flying carpet. If you were unlucky enough to be standing in Rihanna's vicinity, no doubt you were blown off your feet by the sheer force of fabulousness?or you were actually hit by some of the excess fabric. As you can see it's quite the close fight. Rihanna went for the drama, whereas Bey's very fashionably late body was...Bey's body. But it seems like the Internet gave the slightest edge to Rihanna. After all, it's hard to compete with a dress that looks like both a cooking omelette and pizza.??
