According to the New York Post 'Page Six' use of camera phones and social media was not permitted in the gala. And who wouldn't want a snap when faced with someone you admire - Kim captioned this snap featuring J Lo 'With My Idol'. Vogue chief Anna Wintour and the Met were clamping down on the instagrammers but the attendees just couldn't refrain. Madonna shared this pic of her sandwiched between Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.
