The actress Katie Holmes sparkled quite literally tonight on the red carpet at the 2015 Met Gala, her backless Zac Posen gown twinkling like the night sky and ringed with intricate beaded roses around the train. But it was more than a coincidence that the sharply angled cutouts of her dress mirrored Katie's blunt-cut-bob-and-bangs wog, a fierce?and temporary?look that was very much reminiscent of past short Holmes haircuts of the past and yet also seemed to channel Sia's signature performance coif. Holmes and Posen himself hit the carpet together for photo ops ahead of what has easily become one of fashion's biggest nights, the proceeds of which benefit the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.
This year's theme is "China: Through the Looking Glass" and so far the name of the style game has been elaborate head pieces, worn by the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Tabitha Simmons and Selena Gomez.
Apparently this was Holmes' nod to the cause!??
