Just when it seemed James Wan couldn't get any hotter, here comes Sony with some mechas. Wan has the offer and is in early talks to direct Robotech, Sony's adaptation of the anime featuring giant armored warriors. Gianni Nunnari and Mark Canton are producing the project, which is based on 1980s cartoon series from Harmony Gold USA and Japan's Tatsunoko Productions.
