VIDEO : David Letterman Thought a Black Person or Woman Should've Replaced Him on Late Show

David Letterman says he was not asked about his replacement, but he's not bitter. Anymore.
Letterman will be replaced by Stephen Colbert. He told The New York Times he had no say in who was going to replace him as host and it bothered him, just a bit.
He said, "I always thought Jon Stewart would have been a good choice. And then Stephen. And then I thought, well, maybe this will be a good opportunity to put a black person on, and it would be a good opportunity to put a woman on,"
Letterman said he would've liked to be consulted, as a courtesy. Letterman's last Late Show is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20 on CBS.??
