Isaiah Washington is on a guerrilla marketing campaign to spread the word about his new movie to the LGBT community.
Washington hit up Rage nightclub in West Hollywood this past weekend promoting "Blackbird" with his co-star Gary LeRoi Gray.
The irony can't be overstated as Isaiah was famously fired from "Grey's Anatomy" for using a homophobic slur during a blow up with T.R. Knight.
The film, Blackbird, is centered around a gay African American man growing up in a small town.
Sources connected with the film stated Washington's involvement is in no way related to the incident on Grey's Anatomy; instead the actor felt the film has a powerful message which he feels strongly about.??
