He's become a political influencer of sorts in the UK and now Russell Brand has given Ed Miliband the Trews treatment.
Brand interviewed the Labour Party leader Monday night and published a trailer for the interview to his YouTube channel The Trews, which has more than a million subscribers, a day later.
In the clip, the pair discuss tax avoidance and global finance. Miliband was photographed leaving Brand's house by a neighbour whose friend posted the image to Twitter, starting a round of speculation that the comedian and actor might be preparing to endorse the party leader ahead of the election on May 7. Ed Miliband said he agreed to the interview to make the election race "more interesting."
Brand, who has more than 9 million Twitter followers, has famously in the past urged people not to vote in elections.??
