Mel Gibson, who was last year honored with a lifetime achievement award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, is to appear in the trailer for the upcoming 50th edition of the event.
Gibson, whose visit to the Czech event, one of Europes's top film showcases, was marred by protests over controversial anti-Semitic comments made when he was arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of drink driving, will star in the short trailer to be shown before festival screenings.
The trailer, written and directed by Martin Krejci, is due to be shot in Los Angeles in early May.??
