Scarlet Witch is about to cast a spell on audiences.
Elizabeth Olsen plays the supernatural twin in Avengers: Age of Ultron, which premieres in theaters on May 1st. E! News' Alicia Quarles chatted with the cast exclusively on-set in London last year, where Olsen revealed how she prepared for the role of a lifetime. The actress revealed, "We asked them to compile just kind of where our character is in all of the comics in Marvel history, in a way?not just the root, but where they go. We used whatever we wanted from their history to kind of help us pick and choose what makes sense for the story that we're telling." She added, "We just pick and choose whatever works for us." Olsen explained that her character "can do mind control. She can see into someone's deepest fears, and she can also manipulate energy. It's almost like she can create some sort of energy and use it to blast." As far as physical contact goes, Scarlet Witch doesn't have much to do. Olsen apologized, saying, "I think my stunt double is really bored. I see her sometimes and I'm like, 'I'm so sorry, Olivia. I wish I was fighting, too.'"??
