VIDEO : White Boy Rick Film Frenzy? Third Adaptation In Development by Darren Aronofsky

Hollywood has fallen for White Boy Rick.
A third project is in development based on the infamous Detroit teen drug kingpin. Darren Aronofsky and Scott Franklin's Protozoa Pictures will produce the film based on a script by Andrew Weiss.
Weiss wrote the screenplay with the cooperation of Rick Wershe. Wershe was a teen living in Detroit in the 1980s when he joined the ranks of the drug kingpins on the predominantly black East Side to become a prolific cocaine trafficker, going by the name "White Boy Rick."
At the age of 17, Wershe was arrested for selling eight kilos of cocaine and sentenced to prison for life without the possibility of parole.??
