Avril Lavigne is determined to send a strong, inspirational message to her legions of fans around the globe.
The singer debuted her latest track, "Fly," during a guest appearance on Good Morning America today and announced that all of the net proceeds will go to the Special Olympics.
"I wanted the athletes to be the stars of the video and, just like the message of the song, to show the world that they can overcome the challenges and that everyone is meant to shine," she shared. The 30-year-old also opened up about her battle with Lyme disease, saying, "I believe that I will come out of this healthier and stronger than I was before?I've gained a lot of perspective on my life."??
