Joey King and Brent Spiner have boarded Fox's Independence Day 2, director Roland Emmerich announced. Emmerich tweeted about King and Spiner officially joining his sequel, "This just in... @JoeyKingActress and @BrentSpiner officially signed for #IndependenceDay - Welcome aboard!" King recently starred in Zach Braff?s Wish I Was Here and was part of the cast of the first season of FX's Fargo TV series. Spiner is best known for his role as the android Data on the Star Trek: The Next Generation TV series, with recent credits including Ray Donovan and The Midnight Man. Jeff Goldblum and Vivica A. Fox are returning to reprise their roles in Emmerich's sci-fi sequel.??
