Though it feels like just yesterday we were laughing along as her teenage self graced the television during the Amanda Show , Amanda Bynes is all grown up, turning the big 29 today. It feels like we?ve watched the troubled star grow up before our eyes. However, as Bynes got older and jobs became more seldom, the actress began acting out.
In 2012, she was arrested for a DUI, and in 2013 was sent to jail for throwing drug paraphernalia at police officers. After she reportedly started a fire in a suburban neighborhood driveway, Bynes was put on psychiatric hold, and shortly thereafter her parents became her conservators.
Last year she showed signs of hope for a turnaround, heading back to school to get her degree in fashion and even living on her own. Happy Birthday Amanda, to climbing back out of the pit we call our 20s.??
