Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette , the veteran thesps who play key supporting roles in Richard Linklater 's Boyhood , will be the first people ever to be jointly honored with the Santa Barbara International Film Festival's American Riviera Award following an extensive onstage interview at Santa Barbara's historic Arlington Theatre on Feb. 5. Hawke, 44, and Arquette, 46, play the divorced parents of a young boy who grows into a man in the critically acclaimed and widely beloved indie, which also is a best picture and best director Oscar contender.
