British boy band babes One Direction were the men of the evening at the American Music Awards. The gorgeous group won the best award of the night for artist of the year. They also led the big winners receiving a total of three accolades. The handsome heartthrobs, who have released albums every year since 2011, won Artist of the Year, Favourite Band, and Favorite Album for their latest release, Midnight Memories.
