The X Factor says goodbye to hunky Jake Quickenden
Emotions were flying high for the third
live show of the X Factor as Mel B burst into tears when her first act was sent
home.
The evening saw the show?s hunk Jake
Quickenden in the bottom two with mixed band Only the Young. It was Jake who
failed to impress the judges though and was sent packing.
Newbie judge Mel B showed that she?s not
quite used to saying goodbye to one of her contestants, as the former Spice
Girl wiped the tears from her eyes and said that she ?didn?t know what to say?
and was ?sad?.
It wasn?t all about the contestants though,
as One Republic dazzled on stage and clearly the band?s front-man Ryan Tedder
is good friends with head-judge Simon Cowell.
The man of the moment Ed Sheeran also took
to the stage to perform his latest hit Thinking Out Loud. And the twenty-three
year-old wasn?t just getting to know the contestants back stage as he seemed to
have found himself a furry friend.
