The deaths hit the Guardians of the Galaxy particularly hard, with only Rocket the Raccoon surviving.
Some fans are happy that the Guardians are returning in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Surely that means characters such Star-Lord somehow manage to survive, right Think again.
According to ComicBook.com Chris Pratt dropped some hints on the Guardians future.
Pratt said Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 might take place before Avengers: Infinity War.
The remarks came during the red carpet for the MTV Movie and Television awards.
