Jon Watts is returning to direct the sequel, and Tom Holland will reprise the character of Peter Parker in the film. The first ?Spider-Man: Homecoming? grossed $334 million domestically and $880.2 million worldwide.
Mysterio is the name of several supervillains in the Marvel comics. Sony and Marvel?s ?Spider-Man: Homecoming 2? will hit theaters on July 5, 2019.
