Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber got back together at the end of 2017, following Gomez's break-up from The Weeknd. It's been rumored in the past that Gomez's mom does not approve of the relationship. In December 2017, Gomez and her mom, Mandy Teefey, unfollowed each other on Instagram. Teefey recently told Gossip Cop that she was "not happy" but said, "Selena can live her life however she wants as long as she is happy, safe and healthy. [...] Every mother and daughter has disagreements."
