Sleater-Kinney singer Carrie Brownstein?s 2015 memoir "Hunger Makes Me A Modern Girl" is being adapted into a television show. Hulu will host the half-hour comedy series called "Search and Destroy," based on memories of Brownstein?s life shared in her book. The story will depict a young woman growing up in the Pacific Northwest, learning how to fit in with a band and her community. The final season of her popular comedy series "Portlandia," which premiere on IFC January 18th.
