During the Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment Breakfast in L.A., Jennifer Lawrence was awarded the Sherry Lansing Award for her strides in leadership. When she won the award, she made a speech talking about having a voice in important issues. She said: ?It?s not easy to speak out, it is not easy to face criticism on a global scale, but the fact is I?ve been given a platform and I feel if I don?t use it, I don?t deserve it.? Lawrence was not the only woman on stage that night though and Angelina Jolie, during another heartwarming speech, thanked all the woman before them that pushed the boundaries and allowed women to be where they are today.
