Jennifer Lawrence joined the Marvel universe in 2010 as Mystique in "X-Men: First Class." The actress has since won an Academy Award and has been nominated for numerous awards. Lawrence says she will return to Marvel in "X-Men: Dark Phoenix," due to an informal agreement she made with her friend, director Simon Kinberg. She added that the fans' passion led her to want to do it, as well. Lawrence revealed, "He?s been writing these characters for so long and he knows them so deeply. I suddenly felt more connected to my character than I ever have been before.? "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" hits theaters November 23, 2018.
