Elton John honored his late mother during a concert at Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany on December 5th, just one day after her passing. The BBC reports that he performed "Your Song" which he wrote early in his career, at his mother's house. He reportedly told the audience quote "This is the song I want to dedicate to her. And it?s taken me from nowhere to somewhere. So thank you, mom.? John and his mother, Sheila Farebother, had been estranged since 2008 but reconciled earlier this year.
