We might not have seen the last of Jeffrey Tambor?s Maura Pfefferman in Transparent, as apparently, no decision has been made yet regarding his lead role in the decorated Amazon series. The actor is currently under investigation for alleged inappropriate behavior towards his former assistant and one of his co-stars. Shortly after the news of Tambor?s misdemeanor, the actor addressed the controversy, vehemently denying the accusation, specifically made by his ?disgruntled former assistant? and calling them baseless. Having said that, and as recent similar situations have occurred, people expected that him to step down from his gig in Transparent or Amazon to suspend him while these claims are being carefully looked into.
