Wednesday, December 7th, John Mayer posted a picture of himself in a hospital gown to show his fans that he underwent surgery. According to usmagazine.com, ?Mayer was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday for an emergency appendectomy. He is currently touring the United States with Dead & Company in New Orleans.? His concert in New Orleans had to be postponed and Mayer thanked fans for understanding. He stated, ?Thank you everyone for the well wishes. Had surgery yesterday and woke up to see some amazingly kind and loving tweets? Love you all dearly.?
