Marvel fans be warned: spoilers ahead! On Wednesday, Marvel Comics released Avengers #674, wherein a Marvel hero meets a tragic end during the ?Worlds Collide? storyline, which features an Avengers/Champions crossover. And that character is... Viv Vision, a member of the Champions who happens to also be the Vision's daughter. First appearing in Vision #2 in January of 2016, Viv Vision was created as part of Vision?s synthetic family. And yes, we're talking about THAT Vision, portrayed by Paul Bettany in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "Captain America: Civil War," as well as the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War." In the comic, Vision's relationship with Scarlet Witch has come to an end, and feeling that he needs something to make him human, he creates a wife, son, and daughter for himself. And now in Avengers #674, his daughter, Viv Vision, sacrifices herself to stop the collision of Earth and Counter-Earth. The character's demise comes in the midst of Marvel Legacy, a relaunch aimed at returning the focus to the company?s classic characters. Avengers #674 is available now, with the ?Worlds Collide? storyline concluding in Champions #15, which goes on sale December 20th.
